Jira automation thinks I'm a customer

Howdy all, my Service Desk automation thinks I'm a "customer" My automation IF checks:

  • IF Reporter is a Customer
  • Product equals WIDGETS
  • Issue Type equals NEW FEATURE

THEN do xyz

When testing this from within JIRA, as myself, with myself as reporter, it still fires the automation.

I've confirmed that I'm not listed in the "customers" section of the project.  And also not listed in the Administration > User Management > Portal Customer section.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Hi Rosa, can you look under project settings > people and find what role(s) you have listed? Is it possible that you are in a customer Organization?

Hi Jack,   Just looked and I only have "Administrator" and a custom "CS Tier 3" role.

Just double checked the organizations and confirmed that I'm not listed within any of those (it's only 4).

As I'm thinking... Would Org membership in other SD Projects affect this automation in THIS project?

it should not if this is a Project specific automation but if it is Global it would I think.

It's a project specific automation.  Also was moot.  Just checked the other 3 SD projects we have and I'm not listed as customer anywhere.  :(
