My automation for newly created issues is not working for issues created by Automation - help!

I built an automation for newly created issues to parent to an epic and assign to current sprint. It has been working fine with no issues in the logs. After I created this automation, we built automation to create daily tasks. The parent/sprint automation is not working for these issues created by automation. and it is not showing in the logs. What do we need to change?  

The automation for the new item is simple. Do I need to include the automation for parent and sprint in the create automation?

I would check if the "allow other rule actions to trigger this rule" is checked under "Rule details"
