We have a customer that has a third party managing their production environment. Our company is providing specialist level application support for both and we use JIRA cloud for issue management.
We would like to enable Organization added notification for the third party company in this project to help them better keep track of the issues they have open with us. By default we have disabled the Organization added notification for all of our JIRA projects.
I know I can create another notification scheme and activate it for this project, but I don't want our JIRA to send notifications to all organizations in this project, only the one. How can I achieve this?
Hi Aki,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Currently, it's not possible to restrict the "Organization added" notification to only some Organization in the project.
We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.
For now, I'd suggest for you to create a specific project for this customer, so you can disable the notification on the other project and enable the notification for this customer. As the customer notification is applied separately for each project, if you enable to only one project, it won't affect the others.
Regards,
Angélica
Hello
Thank you for your reply. Very unfortunate, that this feature is currently unavailable. I'll have my hopes up for having it in the future.
