Roadmap for Insight

Hello All,

We find the current version of Insight Discovery is very basic and requires effort in setting up.

• Is there a plan to enhance this offering in the near future?
• Can someone please share some details around the perspective roadmap for this product?

Similarly, for Insight we find some of the basic import functionalities missing like importing from a file regularly, scheduling a regular import job or importing Jira user data into Insight.

Can someone share the roadmap/ timeline as to when these features would be available in the cloud?

Are there any plans to build out the other Insight plug ins available on data center for Cloud? Such as the AWS Insight plug in?

Yes, we are actively working towards making those Apps available on cloud as well. We will update the public roadmap as soon as the timelines are finalised.

Regarding Discovery: In Q4 2021, we enabled customers to schedule and automatically import discovered assets from Insight Discovery.

we are also working on the following (details in the roadmap link above):-

- [Q1 2022] Users will be able to access the Insight custom field in the Jira mobile app.

- [Q2 2022] Forms will allow business users to access Insight fields and data

- [Q3 2022] New dashboards and customisable reports on Insight objects.

The enhancements you mentioned around scheduling import remains a priority item in backlog and we will be delivering them in due course (and will update the roadmap to reflect that).
