I've created an automation that clones a user story and sets certain extra fields. I'm having the issue that everything works except for the Story Points.
Am I doing something wrong here?
Hi @Max Boerma ~ @Ugnius Aušra gives some great advice but according to your screenshot, the automation is creating an issue of the same issue type in the same project so as long as the trigger issue has a SP value, then the automation should work. Odd that the message is telling you the field may not be available for the project/type. I'm interested to hear if @Ugnius Aušra 's solution resolves your issue...
If you're a Jira Admin, try the Find your field option. That usually provides more insight about potential Screen issues.

Does this project where you running automation rule, have story points added to any screen in that project.
Here's solutions for it:
Check the field context in Custom Fields (under Jira Administration > Issues) to ensure the field is associated with the target project and issue type.
Review field configurations and screen schemes for the target project and issue type to confirm that all necessary fields are included.
Check permissions to make sure that cloning users have the necessary access to view and edit those fields in both projects.
