When creating an issue via the Portal view the Text Field (multi-line) fields do not save to the issue, however when the issue is created in Jira it works fine. Every other field type behaves correctly.
I've turned off the Automations and get the same result. Anyone know what's happening?

Did you add the field to all issue screens — Create, Edit, and View?

Can you please confirm if these fields that are in the portal, is configured via FORMS or added directly to the request type?
If it is via FORMS, make sure you link those custom fields.
