Want to ask automation limitation webhook for Jira Cloud

Based on this docs, its only set to Jira Server.

We want to set this param to jira cloud

outgoing.webhook.timeout.ms

 

is it possible? 

 

Kinda need your help team.

As mentioned on the documentation, this is not possible for CLOUD instances, only for SERVER.

Hi @Eugenio Onofre ,

 

Our use case step is like this:

  • We detect any movements on the Jira ticket
  • For every movement, we need to automate Jira to hit our backend to get appropriate action (e.g. either to move the ticket to lane_a or lane_b based on the calculation)
  • Sometimes, we need a longer time (more than 30s) to process the request

For that use case, given that it is impossible to setup the time out from Jira side, can you suggest an appropriate way for us to follow?

I would suggest raising a ticket with Atlassian Support to see if it is possible for them to change your timeout settings on their side.
