We use a different top navigation bar color for our Jira production and sandbox environments but when I went to the JSM Assets page in my sandbox today for the first time in a month or two I noticed that there is now a new sidebar on the left side and more importantly the top nav bar is just plain white with no reference to Jira at all.
We use different colors per environment in order to help prevent users from making changes in the wrong environment so the lack of color on the Assets top nav bar is not helpful for us, in fact quite the opposite.
Does anybody have a link to an announcement about this new navigation experience in Assets? I couldn't find anything in my search. We are on Premium for both Jira and JSM so we don't have the new navigation yet.
Hi @Rick Westbrock ,
I know there have been some changes to Assets and it should now be listed as a 'separate' product on the app switcher (although it's actually not). There was an announcement about that - see here: Assets has a new home!
I'm not sure if you're referring to that or maybe some other experience, as I can see this announcement also reflects the change to the new navigation/UI.
If you can, maybe share a screenshot of how the top nav bar looks right now 👀
Cheers,
Tobi
Thank you, I missed that article but that is exactly what I am seeing in our sandbox. I am disappointed that it doesn't honor the Jira color selection nor does it seem to allow me to set a custom color for Assets. I will have to raise a Support case for that to get an RFE created.
