Replacing an existing request type with a new form within Jira Service Desk

Hi!! So I'm attempting to overwrite an old request type with a new form and when I turn it on it seems to be appending to the existing request type instead of overwriting? The new form is showing at the bottom of the existing within the customer portal, making it duplicative. When I go to design view of the request type, I also can't minimize the "Fields" pane on the right-hand side so I'm having difficultyE_W_FORM_S.PNG trouble shooting myself.

Thanks!!

Hi @n0216209 - This is normal behavior.

Forms are (at least currently) only designed to augment the native request type form for raising requests and will always appear at the bottom of whatever is configured for the request type.

When I go to design view of the request type, I also can't minimize the "Fields" pane on the right-hand side so I'm having difficulty

This cannot be collapsed/minimized.  It appears that you may have your browser zoomed in or a low screen resolution which is making the Fields pane encroach upon the Request form.  I would try zooming out your browser to make it appear in its natural place on the right.
