Request type can't be edited here

Hello, I have created a manual automation however I am not able to set the request type. It is giving me an error message of 

'Request type can't be edited here

You will need to use the "Edit request type" action instead."

Could you please assist?

@ana , thank you for your response. I used the "Create work item with a request type" and it worked.

Hi @Elif Alverson!

To edit the Request Type of a Work Item in automation you need to use the 'Edit request type' action, not the standard 'Edit work item'.

Make sure the 'Request type' field is included in the edit screen and that both request types falls under the same Work item type.
