Hi, I currently import our Google Workspace data as a csv file manually into Jira Assets. I would like to automate this process, but both manual import and data manager adapter methods expect a static URL path that needs to be publicly available for Jira to access in order to ingest the import data. This works fine but it is not a secure method due to the URL being public. I need to refresh this data once a day and I am puzzled on how to get it automated without exposing the URL publicly. How do you usually resolve this? Am I missing something important?
Hi @Marin Katic
thanks for your question. There has been an EAP last year for secured URLs but this one has been closed and the feature went back to future consideration.

Currently there is no way in Assets to use secure urls.
One way could be to use Data Manager and the other one would be some sort of middleware that will push the data to your assets schema.
Depending on your source you could also try to search the marketplace if there is an app.
Hope this helps.
