Service management project request email account

Hi!

we use M365 email accounts for request email addresses which works fine. But there is an issue since our company changed it's name and we decided that our domain remains the same but email addresses have the new domain name as proxyaddress as the primary smtp address.

Now the main issue is that when we connect that account using oauth it defaults the email address to the account name which we would like to avoid.

Is there any other way to authenticate in a secure manner but to use the proxyaddress as the email address?
