Single Approver (user) and one person from Approver group in one Approval step

Hi y'all,

I am currently trying to figure out workarounds for a requirement that would need an Approval Step in JSM that has one specific person + any person out of a specific group as an approver.

I am aware, that I can normally only pick approvers from either the group field OR the user field. Configuring two steps would solve part of the problem but the approval isn't consecutive but rather parallel.

Has anyone solved that business requirement before? Any good workarounds?

Hi Rebekka,

You could configure the rule to "Groups / One per group." Then, create one group for the specific user and a second group for the other users.
