What is the "consent control checker" and how does it work?

Hello!

I've come across the term "consent control checker" on one of your pages before (can't find it again...) and understood it to be a feature which enabled customers to consent to Atlassian support staff to get access to personal data on a case-by-case basis, and only by giving their consent. Where can I find more information about this feature?

This is not a feature built into JSM. You could creat an Approval process whereby your customer has to approve or decline before accessing their system.
