Why does Advanced Roadmap View say my Epics/Stories have no parent?

Apparently, it might be related to the Advanced Roadmaps hierarchy configuration, have you checked this page?

Have in mind that In order to see custom hierarchy level relationships in Jira Software issues, you must add the Parent field to your issues.
