JSM Assets Connect two MDM sources

Hello,

We are using both macOS and Windows devices in our company.

• macOS devices are managed by Jamf.
• Windows devices are managed by Intune.

As we want to keep our devices up-to-date, there is a script running between our assets management and intune/jamf. There is no dedicated schema.

I am wondering what are the best practices for retrieving the information from the MDM in Assets and connecting it to the relevant objects. I mean, how does the object is connected to the correct MDM solution if we use a dedicated schema?

Laptop 1 - MacBook (Jamf)

Laptop 2 - Lenovo (Intune)

Can you elaborate more about the usage of two MDMs (called "laptops") in one schema and connect to the "IT Assets" schema?

Yes!  Looking forward to this built in integration when it is ready.  Mosyle and Intune in our org. The only thing I have seen so far is the asset discovery but that doesn't check all the boxes for us.
