Story
When creating external links from comments in Jira/Service Desk, I need the URL portion of the added syntax to automatically highlight, so that I can immediately type the URL I want without clicking and dragging to select sample URL first.
Description
When creating external links from a comment, I have to select the text I want to be the link, choose to make an external link (which adds the syntax for me) and then I have to click and drag to select the URL section of the syntax so that I can type in what I actually want. If it would automatically highlight that for me it would be a MUCH better experience.

Maybe there's some other way I should go about this to make it better..?? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I think you will have to repost it there. Would be great if you can add a link to that issue here then, so that others will have an easy way to find it, if they find this post.

Is there a way to move it there or do I have to repost it? Seems like it would be duplicate content then..??

Hi @Drew Angell,
thanks for sharing your ideas with us. I think, it will be better, to create a suggestion here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD or here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD
