By default, everytime we add new customer (email address) to organization, JIRA sent activation email to set password to that customer.
How can we configure this behavior so that JIRA does not send activation link to email? We just want to use JIRA for our service desk agents only, but we still want to use correct email address for each customer.

Yes: do not create the customer via User Management, but rather via JSD using any of following methods:
Beware that some notification email will still be sent: "admin has invited you to portal" and "request are created, we'll get back to you". The later can be turned off via notification settings
Is it possible to disable the notification: "admin has invited you to portal"
