Service Desk Customer Portal Customization

Good morning All,

I'm trying to see if anyone has attempted to customize the portal form for service desk into a more structured view. We have a standard form on our current help request system and would like to provide a similar view on the portal. 

This would help customer enter data without having to scroll down a long entry form, especially when a lot of data is needed.

We're testing {Refined Themes, but want to take things a bit farther if possible.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Thomas,

Unfortunately, this kind of customization is not available on JIRA yet.

You can access all available customization of the Customer Portal, by following this steps.

  1. Go to the project you want;
  2. Click in "Settings;
  3. Select the option "Portal Settings.

In this page, you will find the available configuration for the customer portal.

Besides that, there is a feature request opened to give more customization options for the Customer Portal.

Please, I recommend you to add yourself as watcher and to vote in the ticket. This way, it will gain visibility to our developers.

I recommend you, as well, to keep using and testing add-ons, they are the best solution right way, for you to perform the customizations you want.
