We sync all our users with AD using Crowd. When we disable a user, it automatically disables them in Jira - which is great. We do have some shared mailboxes that send in tickets to email addresses within projects - those emails are processed by JEMH. We have recently changed things on the Exchange side so those shared mailboxes have their sign-in disabled. As a result, that disabled their user profile in Jira. We aren't able to delete the user in Jira because it is synced with AD. Now those shared mailboxes can't comment on tickets because their user profile is disabled. JEMH will still create the ticket but uses Jira Admin as the reporter (also not ideal) but it will not allow the comments. Is there any known way within JEMH to allow a disabled user to still comment, create, and be a reporter? I've reached out to Crowd and there's no way within our Crowd instance to manage the users locally.
Hi @Ashley Newby and welcome to the Community! I believe you can accomplish this as follows:
If you have this user in other directories (like a separate Crowd directory), you would need to repeat the above steps. HTH
Hi there! Thanks for your reply! I already reached out for support from Crowd because I found that I don't have that option. They put in a feature request for this to be an option in the future.

Welcome to the community.
You could ask the JEMH support department, but I don't think this is possible.
This as the user is disabled and therefor has not rights on the system.
