Automation for Jira - Populate Insight custom field

Hi, 

Is their a way to automatically add Insight Objects to an Insight custom field with Automation for Jira? 

We're trying to add objects in an automation rule (via "Edit issue") based on the attribute of an object. If the automation rule is triggered, all objects with value X (f.ex. asset type) for attribute Y (f.ex. desktop) should be filled in automatically. Thus, all objects with asset type = desktop should be filled in.

What will be the trigger of this automation rule? From what I can assume, this could be done by using REST api. Did you try this?
