Hello,

Our team uses multiple tools along with Jira. Each tool has a separate monthly cost.

We want to centralize this process using Jira or any other Atlassian tools. Can you please give recommendations on how to implement this process?

We have to see the list of tools used in the team, how much is spent on the tool each month, and the annual cost summing up the monthly cost from Mar to Apr.

Each person will add the cost every month once they receive the invoice and invoice to be attached in the system.

if anyone has done a similar process using Atlassian tools, pls share the recommendations.

Hi @Vignesh Jayagopal

As a Product Manager, I have a similar use case where I need to monitor expenses for different tools my team use. For that purposes, I utilize a specialized financial add-on developed by my company - Time & Cost Tracker for Jira

It allows adding one-time and recurring expenses, categorize them, and assign the owner.

You can also create a report to see the total cost based on chosen period or export to share with the financial team.

Moreover, there is an option to calculate labor expenses, create cost repots to manage project budget in general.

Hello

I understand that this process should be carried out between the IT and finance departments, so I would advise you to make a list of all the tools used in the organization that the IT team provides in Confluence. In addition, the number of users should be known by the person responsible for the tools
As for the cost, I understand that the finance department supervises the invoices and would know how to complement this inventory with the prices per application
In addition, this information should be in a section with permissions that only interested people could see, since it contains sensitive information for the organization
I don't know if this is what you need or if it can give you a clue to start

Regards
