Hi all!

Under one of our Projects within JSM when I go to Notifications > Customer Notifications it is coming up with the below screen -

Any reason as to why nothing is showing/no options to setup anything?

Note that I am an Org Admin for Jira as well.

Any support on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi @Joshua Stokes

Welcome to the community.

As @Walter Buggenhout mentioned, you need to have the role Service Desk Team or Administrator.

You also need to have a JSM license granted.

Hi @Joshua Stokes

It is a permission issue.

  1. So the user have JSM access, confirmed in Atlassian Administration?
  2. Users have been granted the role Service Desk Team and role Administrator on JSM the project?
  3. The permission scheme of the project contains the above roles and the roles are at least granted "browse permission"?

HI @Joshua Stokes

Look in the project settings under access and permissions.

Hi @Joshua Stokes and welcome to the Community!

This type of messages is usually permissions related. Being an org administrator does not automatically grant you access to all projects in your instance.

A benefit of having that role, is that you can - if the issue is related to permissions - grant yourself access. If you can access the permissions section in project settings, adding yourself to the service desk team / administrator roles in the project should hopefully resolve the issue.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply, Walter, appreciate it!

I updated my access as per your recommendations and still coming up with the same error.

Any thoughts?

It is under a 'company-managed project'

Thanks!
