Hi, I have a company-managed project on JSM Standard cloud. I'm using automation and a feature for Forms that attaches a PDF of the Form every time it's submitted. The PDF filename format consists of the Form name plus a date-time stamp, so each attachment name is unique (e.g., 2025-06-30 1709 - Request a New Project.pdf). In this project, a form can be reopened, edited, and resubmitted, which creates another PDF (it does not overwrite, which is fine because it's the only way I know to preserve a history in case it's needed).
As you can see in the screenshot, one of the forms has been submitted and then revised and resubmitted twice. Once a work item is approved for work, I use automation to create a new, linked work item in a different project for the technical team to implement the request. When creating that new work item, the attachments, comments, and other pertinent field values are also copied.
This all works, but what I want to do is copy only the latest version of each of the Form PDFs to the created work item, not all of them. Does anyone know how I might do that?
Hi Susan,
Welcome to the community support.
I couldn't fully test your use case, I suspect these steps could work -
Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
