Hi,
We're using Jira Service Management Cloud, and we have several email notifications set up via Automation for a compliance process. The emails work fine, but the sender name appears as "Jira Automation", which isn’t ideal for our users.
They receive many automated emails from different projects, but the ones from this project are high priority and require special attention. We'd like the sender name to reflect that, with something more recognizable like "Sistema de Cumplimiento Normativo" or "Compliance System".
Question:
Is there any native or functional way in JSM Cloud to change the "From" name for emails sent through Automation?
Notes:
We're using the default Jira Cloud email setup (no custom SMTP).
We'd prefer a solution that doesn't require third-party add-ons, but we’re open to alternatives if needed.
Thanks!
Hello @Sebastian Santoyo If you are using Jira automation rule for sending an email then you shoul;d use the Customize prefix for this please use Send Customized email action.
