So my project currently has to ticket types that I am using for ticket creation externally with the API. I have one form that creates ticket from a phone call and another for email. Is there a way to hide those request forms from the customer portal and still have them work properly?
You should be able to do what you are asking without any issue. You just need to hide the request type from the portal via
Project settings >> For the specified request type - Under "Action" - click on "edit group" under the Portal group section. Uncheck any group assignment. This will hide the request type from the portal.

If you want to hide these requests from portal, remove them from the portal groups and those will request types will be hidden automatically from portal.
