Is there a possibility to export content and attachments from one ticket into a document?

Hi Team,

Is there a possibility to export content and attachments from one ticket into a document from Jira. We have to handover 1000 jira tickets with attachments to another unit.

Thanks,

Alby

HI @Alby Siby

Content can be exported by making a search and export the issues to CSV.

Attachments are stored on disk, you need to copy form disk to another location.

But how is the transfer, to another Jira instance or just to other people on the same instance?

Hi @Alby Siby

Then you can use my suggestion, but put attachments would need to found on the server and be related to the correct issue.

their are apps on the Atlassian marketplace to help out on this.

Look at:

  • Better Excel export
  • Better PDF export
  • Project Configurator for Jira

You could trail them and see what you can get out during the trail period.

But on a not, why juts not move the impacted issues into a separate project in Jira and grant the people access to this project.

This in my opinin is a way more consistent solution then exporting issues into files.
