Hi @Carl Alde ,
Could you maybe explain a bit further what's the use case/requirement here?
I've created one rule that is triggered from the existing Epic. Basically, you can just add an action to create an issue (e.g. Story) and set Parent value to be the trigger issue. Again this is only my example as I've used a manual trigger in the rule.
The same thing would actually apply to the sub-task, where you would just use different issue type within the action.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Tom
Hi @Tomislav Tobijas ,I was trying to create a scheduled automation to generate a task under an existing EPIC, as well as a subtask under the created task. My solution works perfectly—I used the "Most Recently Created" issue for the subtask.
By the way, thanks for your response!

Hi @Carl Alde
Welcome to the community. Can you share what your automation looks like and what you have tried?
Also this question has been asked multiple time on the community, so you should be able to find post about this topic with possible solutions.
The community is for people seeking help in achieving a task in JIra not for providing handout solutions.
Members here hope that they can help people understand why their solution is not working and to have the requester understand why.

Hi @Marc - Devoteam I apologize, this is only my second time posting, and I didn’t mean to ask for a direct solution. I will edit the post to provide more details about the error I encountered during the automation process. Thank you!
