I need to update the settings of our JIRA Platform in a way that when an automation runs, the system will not send an internal email to agents and admins. The team gets bombarded since we have a lot of rules that are picked up frequently due to issue updates.
Hello,
For anyone who gets on this thread, Jira automation uses the same notification scheme as manual actions performed by Jira users. That being said, you must edit the notification scheme to avoid a big flow of notifications for several teams as mentioned by @Andrew Kendris
Unfortunately, there's no way to only suppress the notifications from Jira automation, so we created the following feature request to consider this possibility in the future:
Option to Suppress notifications caused by Automation for Jira actions
Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.
Thanks!
Hello @Jillian Marabut - I think this article will help you configure the proper settings for your platform.
