Hi Team,
We are using the Jira Service Management Data Center, and we have a user who is asking if we can redirect Request Type A's URL(https://jira.xxx.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/create/80) to Request Type B's URL(https://jira.xxx.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/create/234), the reason is in one of our system, it was hard-coded with the Request Type A's URL and can't be changed, but Request Type'A is Service Request Issue type, so we created the Request Type B that they need as the Incident Request Issue type.
Is there a way to make it work from JSM? Maybe tomcat redirection will work for this?
Hi @Lance Li
Why don't you just hide that request from the portal, than the request can't be used anymore
The team has the old Request Type A announced to the users for future requests, but actually it should be Request Type B. So they don't want to announce it again to bring complains.

Hi @Lance Li
Sorry, but then I would sat just announce it again, based on change reason, instead of trying to set a complex workaround that is bound to fail some time and you will also get complaints.
