Projects have been set up for each of our clients and various people (support, services, sales etc) have been given access to those projects.
What I want to do is for all of the support only people to be notified when a new request has been created against the projects.
We are currently using a generic notification scheme across all projects, so would it be better to set up specific notification schemes per project, so that I can customize the distribution lists or would it be better to set up separate user roles, so that I can send the notifications to the specific roles?
Alternatively, if you have any better suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.
Hi @Paul Terry
The best practices is using Project Roles as this can be managed by the Project Administrator, adding or removing people from roles.
As much as you can, use Project Roles.
