can I trigger an external powershell script using scriptrunner for JIRA?

Hi, 

we have some Scriptrunner4JIRA Scripts where the Groovy Script should call an external Powershell Script and pass some variablen on it? (issue.key, project id etc) 

Is this direct call possible or we have to use webhook for the communication from groovy to powershell? If yes, how can we execute a powershell script on the linux VM hosting JIRA?

I think it's best to ask this question to the support department of Script runner for Jira.

But I think you will need to use a webhook.
