How To make automation approval based on Group?

Hi,

i have idea to make assign approval use automation.

here is my automation.

but, i dont know how to call group as approval.

example :

"Admin need appoval from Manager."

when user from admin group raise a ticket, they need approval from user on Group Manager.

can you help me with that ?

Hi @adithya ,

i'm going to assume you already have your approval step set up in the workflow of your issue type? That's where you would set the approval type and where to get the approver(s) from.

if so, you should be able to just use the "edit issue" action and set the field that your approval step is getting the information from.
